High Sierra Wilderness Images's limited edition photographic artist, Purple Hat, travels in the highest, most remote, and most rugged areas of California's Sierra Nevada Mountains to capture images showing Nature's intense color, power, struggle, and whimsy.
Purple Hat does not take images of "icons," like Yosemite Valley from Inspiration Point, or Half Dome, eschewing the roads, buildings, crowds, and the other unfortunate trappings of civilization that are associated with them.
